Personal Reparations Plan

The Nickle-Tillman Reparations Plan is a 10-year, $500,000 wealth redistribution plan for income derived from land in St. Francis County, Arkansas. Though wealth redistribution may take many forms, this plan is a deliberate act of reparation. It is motivated by my ancestral ties to the enslavement of Black people in the Arkansas Delta, and by the recognition that land-based wealth is a primary driver of generational inequality. The redistribution pathways outlined in this plan prioritize self-determination, prosperity, and healing of Black communities in the Arkansas Delta.
