"Advancing a Culture of Repair: Land Based Reparations in the Arkansas Delta"

The Bard MBA in Sustainability culminates with a year-long capstone project. The purpose of my capstone is to advance the work of reparations through research and praxis.

This project began with a desire to more deeply understand my own ancestral connections to slavery and early colonialism. I sifted through public archives and historic texts to develop my family tree and identify individuals who were enslaved by my ancestors. Personal genealogy research coupled with an extensive review of existing scholarly work about reparations informed the development of my personal reparations plan.
